Exercise is included in the Olympics from the First Olympiad of 1896 in Athens and is one of the main Olympic sports.

In 1928, the women’s fitness events were added to the Amsterdam Olympiad.

In 1952 and 1956 exercises with rhythmic instruments (balls, ribbons, ribbons and rings) were carried out as an instrument event.

Until 1980, only the instrument workout was done at the Olympiad.

Since 1984 in Los Angeles, rhythmic workout that is pure female sport was added.
